St Patrick’s Day 2026 ☘️

St Patrick’s Day this year was an amazing day for the village of Dunboyne. There was huge community spirit on display from the members of 1st Meath Dunboyne Scouts across all sections.

☘️ Our Scout section set up a campsite on the green, complete with alter fires, to serve up delicious s’mores to the kids (and big kids) of Dunboyne.

☘️ Our Beavers & Cubs sections marched proudly in the parade.

All in all, it was an amazing day of community spirit. Huge congrats to all the organisers and volunteers, with a special mention for our very own Dermot Walsh who has been instrumental in reviving the Dunboyne St Patrick’s Day Festival. Bravo !! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
