New Year Hike 🥾

Thirty-seven Scouts, Ventures, Rovers and Scouters braved freezing conditions to blow off the Christmas cobwebs during our first hike of 2026. The group completed the Prince William’s Seat Loop, taking in Knocknagun and Glendoo Mountain, covering a total distance of 16.5 km.

During the hike, we invested our new Scouts and Ventures in a cold but memorable ceremony. With snow and ice underfoot, conditions were challenging, but spirits remained high throughout. One of our particularly brave Rovers, James, even capped off the day with a dip in an icy pool!
