Jota-Joti 2024
JOTA-JOTI is a Digital Jamboree held each year to connect young people from all over the world through the Internet and Radio.
As part of this event, participants find opportunities to:
- Connect with people from around the world
- Tune in to live shows with hosts from different Scouting regions
- Play fun games while learning about sustainable development
- Participate in dialogues on Scouting and topics that shape our future
- Spread positivity and build an online community
This year, 1st Meath Dunboyne Cub Scouts took part in the event, where some of our youth members interacted with the scouting community across the world! 6000 Scouts from across 80 countries took part this year.
Our participation was only possible thanks to Meta who supported us through the award of their Meta Data Centre Community Action Grant in 2024, to 1st Meath Dunboyne Scout Group, which enabled us to create a digital hub for our current and future youth members.
Jota-Joti 2024 provided an ideal opportunity for our youth members experience the digital world firsthand and connect with the worldwide scouting community in a fun and interactive way!
