2025 AGM 📑

It was wonderful to see so many attend our 2025 Annual General Meeting which was held at Dunboyne Scout Den, on the evening of Thursday, October 16th, 2025.

Our overall Group Leader Bernie O’Connor opened the evening by welcoming all attendees, and giving an overview of the impact that Scouting can have on individuals, both youth and adult members, and the positive impact that Scouting can have on the community as a whole.

Each of our sections presented a high level summary of key activities conducted throughout the past year, which really emphasised the breadth of activities the Group undertakes is as a whole.

Alex Betson gave an excellent presentation on his experiences undertaking the Crean Challenge, more of which can can be read about in Alex’s report here.

Our treasurer Marcus McInerney provided an in-depth breakdown of group finances and Alan Keane and Gary Gunning gave an update on how the group website has evolved and gone from strength to strength over the past twelve months.
